In a way he looks more like a hill billy than a Canadian lumberjack. Maybe if they had given him a flannel T-shirt, it might have helped. Being the first fighter in the arcade version, he basically is there to teach you that you need to learn to duck.
Boxing Tips
Any punches to his stomach wont damage him at all and he'll just stick his toungue out at you. When you do knock him down, he will get up to do his two handed smash, you'll have to duck this to avoid it.
