Another character Nintendo never used again. Even with that ducking, and punching or roughing up he does, he still is pretty plain. Interesting Nintendo picked another Italian for a game. But I'm not sure whats up with that name, it seems a little too stereotypical for me. They guy has always reminded me of Dracula because of his Widow's peak (hairline).
Boxing Tips
When he comes in to do that hugging thing he does, dont fight him. As soon as he is done you need to dodge real fast and punch him in the face, then keep punching him in the face repeatly until he goes down.
